EDC’s 2D-gels can be stained also with “Flamingo” from BioRad: Easiest protocol!
See the steps in the tabel below.

Flamingo protocol (slightly changed) for EDC’s 2d-gels (normal, medium and large)

20 ml +180 ml H2O dist.

Pro-Q Diamond Stain

Green spots are all proteins
Red spots are the phosphorylated proteins by:
ProQ-Diamond (Invitrogen) --> “Pro-Q Stain”
