Too much Heat / Watt in the vertical second dimension

In the manuals are the running conditions given:

All 3 values have a limitation each: Volt - mA and Watt.
These values are written in the manuals!
Do not run the power supply only with one or two limitation values.
Don’t forget to input the Watt-limitations, normally all vertical second dimension gels run under Watt-limitations (Watt-controlled).

All upper buffer-tanks in all vertical systems are not cooled!

In the second phase the run continues running mA-constant.
But the electric resistance rises up further on due to the exchange of leading ions (in the gel) through following ions (from the buffer):

The power supply tries to compensate that by rising up the voltage. This increases of course the Watt (=mA x W x 1000) which is relative to the Joule’s heat producting in the gel.

This value have to be limited, normally at 15 Watt per vertical gel!
